Here's what I really want you to know:
I have had many jobs, and in all of them, I have enjoyed helping people find their voices. I started out as an English teacher, and I even got a graduate degree in writing, then moved on to a tenure-track position on the English faculty of a community college. An open door enabled me to take an Abnormal Psychology class, which launched me into another graduate degree and career as a mental health clinician at a Boston community health center. Now, as the owner/program manager/sole practitioner of A Mom Is Born – I'm excited by not only what mothers have to say, but by the process with which they begin finding their voice, and the way their voice leads them to define, create, and maintain their own positive experiences. I consider it an amazing privilege to see mothers transform into their best selves through the milestones of pregnancy and motherhood.
Please reach out. I'd love to hear from you.
